Community Groups
Groups are a great way to connect with Christ and each other, grow in grace and truth, and love one another.
These are groups of 10-15 people who meet at various times and locations to build relationships and grow spiritually.
Community Groups
A Community Group is a regular gathering of people from inside and outside the church, both of faith and not yet, for the purpose of growing in faith, relationship, and mission. Community Groups take many forms. Size, regularity, meeting time and location, and materials will vary. But in ALL our Community Groups, we are seeking to do three things: Encounter Christ Together, Share Our Lives with One Another, and Love Our City Well.
Learning Cohorts
LBC offers spiritual education and discipleship opportunities in the form of Learning Cohorts. Groups meet for a set amount of time (as little as 8 weeks or as long as a year) and study a particular subject or book.
Shepherding Groups
All members of Lake Baldwin Church (LBC) are thoughtfully assigned to a shepherding group, which is designed to provide support and guidance, under the attentive care of an Elder. This structure fosters community and ensures that everyone has someone to turn to for spiritual encouragement and assistance.

Men's Groups
At Lake Baldwin Church, our Men's Groups create a supportive space for men to explore their faith in Jesus. These groups meet regularly for meaningful discussions that promote spiritual growth and fellowship. Each group follows a structured format focused on spiritual education and discipleship, with sessions lasting 8 weeks to a year. This allows members to deeply engage with specific topics or books to enrich their faith and daily application. Join us as we grow together in Christ.
Women's Groups
At Lake Baldwin Church, our Women's Groups provide a nurturing environment for women to deepen their relationship with Jesus. Through consistent gatherings, participants engage in thoughtful conversations that facilitate spiritual development and connection. The groups operate on a structured plan aimed at spiritual learning and discipleship, with sessions ranging from 8 weeks to a full year. This framework enables members to thoroughly explore particular themes or literature, enhancing their faith and its relevance in everyday life. We invite you to walk alongside us as we journey in faith together.
Young Adults
The Young Adults Ministry at Lake Baldwin Church is all about building community and growing spiritually for those in their twenties and thirties. We create a friendly space where you can connect, share your experiences, and chat about faith and life. Whether it’s our meetups, small groups, or special events, we're here to help each other develop relationships and deepen our faith. Come hang out with us as we tackle the ups and downs of young adulthood together, all while growing in Christ.
