Surf School 2025
Save the date June 28th and sign up now for everyone’s favorite beach trip: Surf School! Everyone is welcome so bring your whole family and invite some friends too. Elementary students can participate in a special introductory surfing lesson at 9 AM and then grab a board and catch a wave or two! We’ll provide the boards and have some snacks and water on hand. We hope you’ll join us for one of our most fun events of the year! Surf School is at Andy Romano Beachfront Park in Ormond Beach and we will be there from 9-12. RSVP via the Church Center App, or through the Weekly Update or Surf Report!
LBC Summer Reading Group
This summer, the LBC Young Adults will be meeting up to talk about CS Lewis' The Screwtape Letters. It's a hilarious, sobering, wise and enriching book that has much to say about what it means to be Christian, about the nature of goodness, and the schemes of the Evil One. Join us on 6/8, 6/22, 7/6 and 7/20 in classroom Room 152 (building next to auditorium, up the stairs) after church for a free lunch and rich discussion. You do not have to read the book to attend; the discussion will weave between Scripture and chunks of Lewis' book.
